Found this place on Yelp and was looking to try something different. We drove 20 minutes to get here and it was well worth it! I don't usually like the refried beans in a Mexican restaurant. But, these tasted like something that I had made it home!! we will definitely come back and try it for lunch soon.
Great place for authentic Mexican food! It's a very casual restaurant, and it gets very busy. I came here on a Sunday around lunch, and it was very packed. It has its own private lot with plenty of parking. Some of the tacos here are one of the larger sizes I've seen, and their corn tortilla is definitely one of the best corn tortillas I've ever had. The quality is so good, and the size of the corn tortilla is actually quite larger than what I'm used to. Not that I'm complaining about that! When you dine in, you get chips and salsa also. Be aware that the salsa is very spicy! It was delicious, and I can tell it was made in-house. I tried the Al pastor and barbacoa tacos. I highly recommend. The Al pastor was marinated very well and so delicious. The barbacoa actually felt pretty lean when I ate it, so I didn't feel heavy or disgusting after. Service was also fantastic. Also, the price point for the tacos here is so affordable and reasonable! Highly recommend for those looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant in the area.

Passing through Baytown and tried this place. We ordered supreme nachos with beef. We were pleasantly surprised to see a pile of chips sitting in queso and covered in beans and ground beef. The beef was like what I would cook at home. It wasn't spicy and it didn't have chili powder in it. I was so happy because I don't really like "taco meat". It came with a nice amount of guacamole and sour cream. There are also 3 types of sauces. I really liked the green sauce but it was too spicy for my husband. The service was great and the place was clean. They had Splenda for my tea. I appreciate that. The only reason I didn't give 5 star: the chips are really thick, which are not my preference and they did not have fountain sodas. Only cans.
The breakfast tacos were a big hit for my meeting. I ordered them the night before and they had them ready in the morning on time. Thanks a million. I definitely will be using them again.
